One eSIM for a multi-country Europe trip

If your trip crosses more than two borders, a regional plan is usually cheaper and far less hassle than a stack of local eSIMs. Here is how it works and where it does not.

How regional plans switch networks

One eSIM profile works with partner networks in 33 European countries. Your phone picks the strongest partner automatically as you cross a border — no new QR codes, no settings.

Where it beats local plans

Any trip touching three or more countries, or where you cannot predict the route. It does not cover the whole continent: Serbia, North Macedonia and Türkiye are in the Europe + Balkans & Türkiye plan, and Montenegro and Albania in the Balkans plan.

Where a local plan wins

A single-country stay of two weeks or more. Local plans are cheaper per GB: 10 GB for Spain costs €20.90, the Europe plan €24.90.

Data budgeting across countries

Data is one pool; there is no per-country limit. Maps in cities and translation apps are the usual consumers — plan 400–600 MB a day, so roughly 3–4 GB a week.
