Install your eSIM before you travel, on Wi-Fi. Installing does not start the plan — validity starts at your first connection in a covered country.

  1. Before you start

You need an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked phone and a Wi-Fi connection. Each eSIM can be installed once, so do not delete it after installing.

  2. iPhone: one tap

Open the eSIM in the Roambee app or at my.roambee.io on the iPhone itself and tap "Install eSIM". iOS opens Settings and adds the line. Label it "Roambee" or "Travel".

  3. Any phone: scan the QR code

Show the QR code on another screen (it is also in your email). iPhone: Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM → Use QR Code. Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM / Download a SIM instead, then scan.

  4. No camera? Enter the details

Choose "Enter details manually" and paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code shown under your eSIM. Both can be copied with one tap.

  5. When you land

Switch the Roambee line on, set it as the line for mobile data and turn on Data Roaming for it. Keep your own SIM on for calls and SMS if you want to stay reachable.
